Public Monitoring Group Received 23 Complaints in May 2026

During the May 2026 reporting period, the Public Monitoring Group Conducting Public Oversight over Penitentiary Institutions and Bodies of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia received 23 complaints. The complaints were received as part of the Group's mandate to monitor the protection of the rights of persons deprived of liberty and to examine issues related to conditions of detention and the operation of penitentiary institutions.
