Representatives of the Public Monitoring Group Participate in Council of Europe Training

Representatives of the Public Monitoring Group Conducting Public Oversight over Penitentiary Institutions and Bodies of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia participated in a two-day training programme organized by the Council of Europe, dedicated to strengthening cooperation in the protection of the rights of persons deprived of liberty. Recognizing the importance of independent monitoring, the Public Monitoring Group will continue its work to protect the rights of persons deprived of liberty and to promote the implementation of international human rights standards within the penitentiary system.
